Betty June Posner Bremen was born September 17, 1927, in Uniontown, Pennsylvania to Gisela and Isadore Posner. Betty attended nursing school at Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburg. While doing a special select rotation at Cleveland’s Crile VA Hospital, she met Harry A. Bremen MD. They married on September 26, 1948. Betty and Harry ultimately settled in Dayton, where they welcomed and raised their children, Janice, Gary and Barbara.

Betty enjoyed homemaking, family vacations, gardening and hosting dinner parties. She and Harry were an inseparable couple. She moved to Dublin, OH in September 2019 to be closer to her daughters and resided at Friendship Village of Dublin until the time of her passing.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband (Harry A. Bremen, MD), and sister and brother-in-law (Joseph and Lenore Kofman). She is survived by her children, Janice Bremen, DO, Gary (Linda) Bremen, DO and Barbara Evert, MD (Ronald Osby). She is survived by grandchildren Jeremy (Philina) Schram, DO, Stephen Schram, Bradley (Erin) Bremen, Molly Bremen, DDS (Dave Roberts), Benjamin (Emma) Bremen, Joel Harbor and Phillip Harbor. Betty is additionally survived by her great grandchildren Isaac and Jenna Schram, Isabelle and Brody Bremen, Henry, Simon and Max Roberts, Harvey and Estelle Bremen and Ivri and Oziyah Harbor.

Funeral services will be held graveside on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 11:00 am at Beth Jacob Cemetery, 4001 Old Troy Pike, Riverside, Ohio. We will follow to celebrate Betty’s life at a reception from 2 to 4 PM at Napa Kitchen, 7148 Muirfield Drive, Dublin, Ohio.

Per our tradition, we will sit Shiva (mourning visitation) Tuesday December 2 from 6 to 8 PM, Wednesday December 3, 4 to 7 PM and Thursday December 4 from 4 to 7 PM. Everyone is welcome to join any/all of these visitations. The Shiva will be held at Barbara and Ron’s home, 9358 Pratolino Villa Drive, Dublin, OH 43016.
