JONES, Brent Eric, age 58, of Huber Heights, passed away Friday, January 10, 2025 at Hospice of Dayton.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Harlen Jones and Joan (Clark) Jones Cooper; brother, Larry; and infant son, Daniel.  He is survived by his brothers, Barry (Beth) Jones, John Jones; sisters, Debra Jones, Paula (Scott) Gillespie, Lori (Jim) Potter, Stephanie (Scott) Bridges; son, Billy; and many other relatives & friends.  He enjoyed playing guitar, working crosswords, and rooting for his Cincinnati Bengals and Kentucky Wildcats basketball.  He was a good cook and his deep-fried shrimp and hush puppies were the best! At 6’5 tall, Brent was affectionately known in the neighborhood as Big Bird.  A celebration of Brent’s life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.  If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or charity of your choice in Brent’s memory.
