BARKER, Dona (Staton), age 85, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 and is now with her beloved husband, Clarence.

Dona was a proud mother of 11 children, Russ Barker (Louanne), Todd Barker (Linda), Latricia Barker, Doug Barker (Mandi), Daryl Barker, Kim Napolitano (John), Carol Tipton (Jon), Ruthanne Abed (Amir), Pam Waite (Scott), David Barker and Troy Barker. 

Dona was a beacon in her community.  She volunteered for over 50 years in Huber Heights Wayne Boosters and Huber Heights Athletic Foundation. She retired after 30 years from the Hewitt Soap Factory in Dayton Ohio and served as the president of her union, IUE Local 689.

Dona’s family and friends will hold a celebration of life Tuesday, August 12th at Huber Heights Athletic Foundation at 6 pm. All who loved Dona are welcome to share memories and fellowship.

In lieu of flowers we are asking that you make donations to the Huber Heights Athletic Foundation or Hospice of Dayton in Dona’s honor. A graveside service will be held for family and friends at Glen Haven Memorial at the family’s convenience.
