GITZINGER, Elizabeth A., age 83, of Huber Heights, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton. Elizabeth was the office manager for Heidelberg Distributing for 17 years; member of St. Peter Catholic Church, an active volunteer, and for 14 years she was the treasurer for the Huber Heights Senior Center.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Gitzinger; parents, George and Frances Zelinskas; and sister, Bernie Troy. She is survived by her beloved husband, Ralph E.; daughter & son-in-law, Maria & Patrick Reymann; son & daughter-in-law, Andy & Jessica Gitzinger; sister, Georgia Petroski; brother, Larry Zelinskas, grandchildren, Benjamin Gitzinger, Katherine (Garett) Minnich, Paige Reymann; other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Monday, July 6, 2026 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 6161 Chambersburg Road with Father Kyle Schnippel Celebrant. Interment Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 AM Monday until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter Food Pantry or Ohio‘s Hospice of Dayton in Elizabeth’s memory. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Marker & Heller Funeral Homes.
