Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Taylor, 89, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Betty was born September 7, 1935 to William and Hazel Hagemeyer of Deer Park, Ohio.  After graduating, Betty met a handsome man named Johnny, who was in the US Navy.  They wrote love letters back and forth while he was deployed.  Upon his return, they married on August 6, 1955.  Betty and Johnny built a home in Tipp City (Phoneton), Ohio where they raised their kids and made many memories with their friends and family.  Betty loved many things, but she especially enjoyed bowling, crossword puzzles and playing cards.  Once Johnny retired, they bought an RV and traveled the United States.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Johnny H Taylor, her daughter in law Mary Taylor, her son in law Robert “Bob” Warden and her granddaughter Ashley Taylor.  She is survived by her son Mike (Debbie) Taylor, her daughter Linda Warden, 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and many brothers and sisters.  She was an extremely loving mom, grandma and great grandma and her presence will be greatly missed.

A visitation and gathering honoring Betty will take place on Friday, January 10 at 12:00pm until the service at 1:00pm at Marker and Heller Funeral Home, Huber Heights Chapel, 5844 Troy Pike, Huber Heights, OH 45424.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association in Betty’s memory.
