Gerald Fidler

FIDLER, Gerald Eugene, age 75, of Tipp City, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton.  Gerald was a MSgt with the U.S. Marine Corps, retiring after 22 years of service.  He served during the Vietnam War and also received the Purple Heart during combat.  He was a Commercial Fisherman after retiring, managed housing at Tyndall Air Force Base in Panama City, Florida and was a member of Muster & Mingle Veteran’s Group in Tipp City, Ohio.  Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest & Betty Sue; sister, Donna Maxted; brothers, Steven Fidler & John Corbin.  He is survived by his loving wife, Regina L.; daughter, Wendi Ringenberg; son, Christopher Glaze; brothers, Bryon Fidler & Thomas Fidler; grandchildren, Miles Ringenberg, Emily Glaze, Dexter Glaze; and many other relatives & friends.

Graveside service 2:00 PM Friday, June 27, 2025 at Dayton National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Muster & Mingle Veteran Group in Gerald’s memory.  Funeral arrangements Marker & Heller Funeral Homes.
