GORBY, Gertrud, age 84, of Huber Heights, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Miami Valley Hospital.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Franz & Monika; brother, Helmut Faget; son in law James E. Butler.  Gertrud is survived by her daughter, Melissa Butler; son, David (Lois) Gorby; sisters, Monika Smith, Lydia Boetzl; grandchildren, Wesley (Angela) Pullins, Ryan (Jacqueline) Pullins; great-grandchildren, Cadence, Ellie and Madeline and many other relatives & friends.

Funeral service 6 PM Friday, May 15, 2026 at Marker & Heller Funeral Homes, Huber Heights Chapel, 5844 Old Troy Pike with Chaplain Ric Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 PM until service time at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to SICSA in Gertrud’s memory.
