COX, Jason Derek, age 51, of Tipp City, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023 at his residence.  He was a DevOps Team Lead at EDICT for 8 years and attended Calvary Open Bible Church.  He was a loving and caring son, father, husband and family man.  He was the most generous thoughtful and least selfish person.  He was greatly loved and cherished by everyone that was able to have the privilege of knowing him.   Jason was preceded in death by his father, Charles E.  He is survived by his wife, Heather M.; mother, Betty M. of Dayton; sons & daughter-in-law, Justin A. Hudson and Kalyn; Joshua G. Cox; sisters and brother-in-law, Donna J. & Paul Floyd and Sharon M. Gleason; grandchildren, Savannah & Jameson; nieces & nephews, Caleb (Kenzie) & Kara (David); and a host of Aunts, Uncles, cousins & friends.  Funeral Service 1 PM Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Marker & Heller Funeral  Home, Huber Heights Chapel, 5844 Old Troy Pike with Pastor Dan Powell, Rev. Paul Floyd and Pastor Joshua Grimes. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12 Noon until service time at the funeral home.
