Linda Shapiro, age 71, of Columbus passed away on January 15, 2026. Linda graduated from Meadowdale High school in Dayton, Ohio and went on to graduate from The Ohio State University in 1978. Linda worked as an administator for OSU her entire career. Linda's great love was animals, be it cats, dogs or the primates she helped care and fundraise for at the American Primate Educational Sanctuary in Blacklick. She loved travel and said her favorite trip was to see primates in the wild in Costa Rica. Linda was very active in the Lions Club and headed up their annual Pancake Breakfast every year. She love baking and entertaining her friends. She will be missed by so many. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Sara Shapiro, sister Barbara Shapiro and brother Howard "Buddy" Shapiro.  Services were already held on Monday, January 19, 2026.
