Manuel L. Rozakis Obituary

ROZAKIS, Manuel Louis, age 94, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton. Born September 4, 1930 in Weirton, West Virgina to George & Despina Rozakis. He spent his formative years in Warren, Ohio. Manuel became a stock broker after graduation from Youngstown University with a degree in Business Administration. He then went on to NYU and earned a Master Degree. Manuel served in the U.S. Army during WWII, stationed at Okinawa.in the Signal Corp.

He leaves a sister, Pauline R. Makris; nephews, Tom (Ellen) Makris, George Makris, John Makris, Mark Makris; niece, Stephanie Makris; and cousin, Kathy Verioti.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 500 Belmonte Park North, Dayton Ohio 45405 with Father Anthony Cook officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:30 AM Tuesday until service time. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church Legacy Fund in Manuel’s memory. Arrangements entrusted to Marker & Heller Funeral Homes.
