Marjorie Faye Kohorst (Marge)

KOHORST, Marjorie Faye (Marge), age 88, of Huber Heights, passed away Friday, January 17, 2025 at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton.  Marge was the Secretary for St. Peter Catholic Church, retiring after 20 years of service.  She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Rosary Alter Society and Secretary for Parish Counsel.  Marge was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing Bridge with the Huber Heights Senior Citizens.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wilbur J.; sons, Jeff & David; son-in-law, Ron Glidewell.  Marge is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law, Linda Glidewell, Gail Hicks (Greg), Sharon & Richard Earley; sons & daughters-in-law, James & Donna, Ed & Mary, Glenn & Tonya; 20 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; nieces, nephews; and her furry friend, Zero; and many other relatives & friends. 

Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 AM Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 6161 Chambersburg Road with Father Andrew Smith celebrant.  Interment Dayton National Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10:30 AM until service time at the church. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton in Marge’s memory.  Funeral arrangements Marker & Heller Funeral Homes.
