Mary Lou Rea Obituary

REA, Mary Lou, age 88, of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at The Pines of Sarasota.  She was a retired Secretary from University of Dayton.  Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Howard & Clara Macy; sister, Joan Shellabarger; brother, Glen Macy; and grandson, James Andrew Rea, Jr.  She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Judi & Jim Bolinger; son & daughter-in-law, James Andrew & Joyce Rea; grandchildren, Tiffany Cobb, Aaron Crawford, Judi Harris, Krystal Sandefur, Candice Rea and Casie White; nieces, Amy Shellabarger, Julia Workman, Ann Scott; and nephew, Jon Shellabarger; and many other relatives & friends. 

Graveside service 10 AM Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Bethel Cemetery, 5801 Phillipsburg Union Road.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, curealz.org in Mary’s memory. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Marker & Heller Funeral Home, Huber Heights Chapel.
