Shannon Lynn Russell

RUSSELL, Shannon Lynn, age 50, of Huber Heights, passed away Friday, March 10, 2023 at Miami Valley Hospital.  Shannon was a RN for Dayton Children’s Hospital for many years, worked at Pediatric Associates of Dayton and CareSource prior to moving to Somatus.  She was a member of Restoration Park Church, former member of Huber Heights First Baptist Church and a member of the Huber Heights YMCA.  Shannon was preceded in death by her father, James E. Sexton.  She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, John W.; daughter & son-in-law, Haleigh & KC Kamentz of Beavercreek; son, Garrett J. Russell of Huber Heights; grandchildren, Praise, Peace, and Promise; mother, Sharon A. Sexton of TN; brother & sister-in-law, Jason & Katie Sexton of SC; nieces, Jenna (Sam) Golding, Abbey Sexton; and many other relatives & friends.  Funeral service 10 AM Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Marker & Heller Funeral Home, Huber Heights Chapel, 5844 Old Troy Pike with Pastor Chad Group officiating.  Interment Maple Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home.  If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Huber Heights YMCA in Shannon’s memory.
