WINESETTE, William E. II (Bill), age 72, of New Albany, passed away at The Hospice of Dayton in the early morning of April 3, 2023.
Bill was a 1970 graduate of Brookhaven HS. He married his high school sweetheart, Elaine, in 1971 and they were married for 52 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, William (Ed) & Naomi Winesette. Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Elaine; daughters & sons-in-law, April & Robert Zwick of Xenia, Kimberly & Jared Love of Westerville; son, Christopher & his fiancé, Amy of Xenia; sister & brother-in-law, Robin & Wayne White of Westerville; Granddaughters Emylie, Madison, Eva, Kaylee, Daisy and Piper and Grandsons Luke, Ethan, Cole and Ezra.
Bill made a career in HVAC, and after years working for other companies co-founded Creative Control Designs in 1989 before selling it in 1998. There was nothing he could not fix, and he worked as a handyman until he could no longer do so. Bill was a talented musician and there was not an instrument he could not play. He served in many roles at Forest Edge Church for years, but most enjoyed playing the bass on the worship team. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, love, humor, music and hard work.
The family would like to thank the staff of River Oaks Memory Care Center and the care team at Hospice of Dayton. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lewy Body Dementia Association or The Hospice of Dayton in William’s memory.
